Who are we?

Pearce Mottershead

Owner

Pearce Mottershead has been contributing to stream and wetland restoration efforts across Western North Carolina for over 30 years. His expertise spans streambank stabilization, in-stream structures, riparian native vegetation, erosion control, and greenway development, ensuring that every project balances ecological integrity with functional, long-term solutions.

For more than three decades, Pearce has been dedicated to restoring natural habitats and improving water quality, collaborating closely with property owners, engineers, and funding agencies to bring sustainable visions to life. His deep knowledge of environmental systems, permitting, and construction allows him to lead projects with precision, innovation, and a commitment to lasting impact.

A graduate of Warren Wilson College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics, Pearce brings a strategic mindset to every project, blending his environmental expertise with practical execution. Outside of work, he’s  a passionate cook and a dedicated father who enjoys spending time with his children.
